I went down to the front desk and described the situation to the front desk supervisor, the supervisor apologized most sincerely for the inconvenience and called Housekeeping to ensure the room got cleaned (and comp'd us with drinks while waiting for the room to be cleaned). At first a phone call to the front desk at about 3:30pm elicited the lame response that '.oh, housekeeping works until 5'. Looking at all wings on the floor where our room was, a housekeeping corridor supply-cart was NOWHERE to be seen. and returned to at about 3:30pm - and, if not for reporting this, it would have surely not been done. But this time, on the last day there, we were shocked to find that housekeeping had not cleaned the room - which we left at about 10:30a.m. I have stayed at the Fairmont Charlevoix many times in the past and always rated it a 10 for Satisfaction. Surprised that I could not assign a 10 rating this time.
